Second race of the F1 world championship is next week 27/28 May in Portimao, Portugal. It´s the most important race of the season for us, because is our home race. Our equipment will arrive next Tuesday directlly in the pits , so there is not much time to test, but we plan to do one test section anyway. Both drivers are really looking forward to this race and we think we will be able to achieve a very good team result. Good news is also the arrival of a new sponsor to the team, QUEIRÓPLÀS will be with us for this season.

F1 Atlantic Team start 2006 season in Doha, Qatar. With a new driver for this season in the team, Briton Andy Elliott, the expectations were high and after this race they are even higher. Duarte Benavente receive his new boat just hours before the race but after a big effort from the team the boat was ready for race, and in a very difficult water, manage to finish in nine position. Andy Elliot was always inside top ten, but a small problem with the throtlle force him to stop for some laps and finish in 11 position. Next race is Portimao in Portugal, home race for the team and the expectations are very high, all the team is looking forward to do well.
